‘You left me with a void’ 2022  interrogates the interplay between lust and loneliness. Exploring what happens to the body and soul when a man disregards you. - What effect does neglect and men have on a broken heart? 

This drypoint print was created using a Chine Collè watercolour inspired technique. Chine collé is a delicate printmaking technique where a thin sheet of paper is glued and bonded to a heavier backing paper before it is printed over using a printing plate.  Instead of layering paper,  I marbled watercolours over the figure and aligned my print over it. 

It pertains to the suffering of women and gay men. Harm, Abuse and an abundance of mediocre sex all combine into one image. The delicate watercolour contrasted with the ‘scarring’ style of cross-hatching technique all uplift this work into its own category.  All original pieces of work for sale are one of a kind and are dated, and signed.
